Automated Crate Cover Machine

A servo driven reciprocating placer, powered magazine, conveyor with line stops, and a touch screen operator interface, when combined, create the flexibility to apply a variety of graphic oriented covers to 24 bottle count crates. As crates enter the machine, pneumatic line stops and clamps position the leading crate while at the same time removing line pressure by stopping the preceding crate. The reciprocating placer removes a cover from the magazine, places the cover into the leading crate, locking the cover over the corner bottles. The line stops release the crates and the cycle repeats. This configuration operates at 33 cycles per minute. The dust covers provide tremendous graphic impact for promotional and brand imaging while providing basic protection from light and dirt.
