Brewery Hang Tag Applicator

This hang tag applicator utilizes two mini reciprocating placers facing each other, in line with flow, to automatically place 2" x 5" paperboard hang tags onto the necks of beer bottles in a case at speeds of 35 cases per minute. Cases containing four six-packs of beer bottles are conveyed to the placers where pneumatic line stops actuate and stop one case in front of the placers. A photo eye signals each machine to pick and place a hang tag from each of the two lanes over two bottles, thereby, each case now contains one bottle in each six-pack with a brewery hang tag. This application enables the brewery to cost effectively hang tag their six-packs of beer as "award winning" to consumers without the high cost of manual labor.	View this Machine in Motion
