Vacuum-Less Tray Denester

This 4-lane reciprocating tray denester was customized to include grippers for picking of plastic trays due to the customer’s requirement for a denesting machine that didn’t utilize any vacuum cups. Single point adjustment of product magazine, product clip, and gripper settings was also designed into this denester versus individual lane adjustments. With the need to run five different tray sizes on this machine, this grouped single-point adjustment for the changeover parts reduced changeover time by 75%. Changeovers can virtually be accomplished in 5 minutes! With four lanes, this denester operates at 20 cycles per minute achieving 80 placements per minute onto the customer’s conveyor.
