Nested Container Collated Systems
|
Nested container bases and lids are loaded into separate product magazines. At the first station a group of two to five container bases are automatically removed from the magazine and placed on a conveyor. At the next station a matching number of lids are placed on top of the bases. The unique feature of this system is that containers and lids are denested in groups, rather than individually, thus significantly increasing productivity. Product counts are easily changed by adjusting quick-change product grippers. This system is designed to handle all popular sizes of nested containers and lids. Product changeovers are accomplished with minimal downtime using Minnesota Automation’s production-proven quick change features. By grouping two or more systems, variety packs of several sizes can be produced. |
