Rotary Labeling System

Using a secondary motion rotary with dual lane powered magazines and integration of two labelers, the customer is now able to accurately apply pressure sensitive labels on 3-1/2" deep plastic domes at accumulated speeds of 250 per minute. The dual labeling systems apply a single label to the long side of each dome prior to being removed from the magazine. Stack counts of 25 labeled domes are accumulated under the rotary placer. The stacks are cross-pushed and elevated to the discharge conveyor. The depth of the lid mandated that this application use Graphic Packaging's patented secondary motion technology. The secondary motion action permits products up to four inches in depth to be handled at speeds up to 200 cycles per minute. The SMR3 can be easily integrated with packaging systems or function as a stand-alone system.		View this Machine in Motion
